Michael Evans founded investment banking firm Evans & Evans, Inc. in 1989. He oversees the corporate finance activities of the firm both domestically and internationally.

Michael has been responsible for over $500 million in corporate finance transactions for Evans & Evans’ client transactions in private placements, reverse mergers, IPOs and debt issuances. He has advised on many M&A transactions and has originated transactions for both purchasers and sellers.

Michael has a professional working proficiency in Mandarin and spends a considerable amount of time in Asia on corporate finance-related activities.

Michael holds a MBA from the University of Portland, where he graduated with honors, and the professional designations of CFA, CBV and ASA. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the Chartered Business Valuators Institute and the American Society of Appraisers.

Jennifer Lucas is an accomplished financial analyst experienced in the preparation of business plans, investor presentations, financial projections, valuations, goodwill impairment analysis, due diligence reports and pricing analyses for private and public companies. She has also been involved with M&A transactions.

As a Partner with Evans & Evans, Jen has been involved in hundreds of the firm’s projects over the past few years. Since joining the firm’s Vancouver office in 1997, Jen has worked with a broad spectrum of companies from software and technology, telecommunications, natural resources, entertainment, personal security and a variety of industrial projects.

Jen holds a MBA from the University of British Columbia, and has the professional designations of CBV and ASA. She is a member of the Chartered Business Valuators Institute and the American Society of Appraisers.
